　　(1) Tie a bell collar around the cat’s neck. When the cat chases chickens or rabbits, the sound of the bell reminds the chickens or rabbits, reducing losses. Additionally, the bell sound can alert the owner to stop the cat’s abnormal predatory behavior promptly.

　　(2) Place inverted mousetraps around the chicken coop or rabbit cage. When the cat approaches the cage and triggers the mousetrap’s noise, it will scare the cat away. After 3 to 5 times, the cat’s abnormal predatory behavior can be stopped.

　　(3) Spray the cat with water using a water gun when it approaches the chickens or rabbits: after 8 to 10 times, the cat’s abnormal predatory behavior can be cured.

　　(4) Apply deodorant near the nose of the sick cat once a day for three consecutive days. Then spray the same deodorant on the chicken coop or rabbit cage. Because the cat develops an aversion to the deodorant, it will no longer approach the chicken or rabbit coop treated with deodorant. After some time, even if the deodorant is no longer applied to the cage, the cat will not approach it.
