How to Train a Cat to Be Obedient and Well-Behaved
Chinchilla
Cats can be as destructive as dogs when mischievous. Cats have very sharp claws, and scratching sofas and furniture is routine for some cats. Some cats are clingy and like to secretly sleep on the bed, which may cause certain health risks. We should train cats to correct these behaviors to prevent them from developing bad habits.
1. What to do if the cat is disobedient
1. How to stop a kitten from climbing on the bed
Whenever it climbs on the bed, lie facing it, staring into its eyes, and emit a "mm..." sound from your throat, which is usually the warning sound cats make when fighting.
That sound is hard to imitate but very effective.
Then raise your hand as if to hit it; or simultaneously make a hissing sound and blow air toward its nose.
Or extend your hand in a scratching posture like cats fighting each other and quickly touch or sweep across its paws, nose, and head—it will definitely be scared away.
Of course, you should try your best to appear threatening (the more you simulate a mature territorial cat, the better) and avoid smiling or making friendly scratching gestures.
2. How to deal with a picky cat
When the cat is picky about food, the owner points to the food and watches it eat.
If it does not eat, let it be a little hungry. If it still does not eat, offer something it usually tolerates, but not its favorite food. Otherwise, in this contest with the cat, the owner loses.
