Kittens are best vaccinated when they are three months old and confirmed to be healthy. If they have a cold or diarrhea, do not vaccinate. Cats behave quite well during vaccination. If they make sounds during the shot, do not immediately go comfort them; otherwise, the next time they get vaccinated, they will make louder noises. You should remain calm and create a quiet and supportive atmosphere. Cats will quiet down if they see their owner is calm.

Before vaccination, deworm the cat first. Deworming medicine from the pet store can be used for external parasite control and flea removal. Use kitten-specific medicine for kittens, as adult cat medicine is a bit too strong for kittens. Vaccinate one week after deworming.

After vaccination, keep the kitten warm. It is important to keep warm and do not bathe the cat immediately after going home. Wait one week after vaccination before bathing them.

Vaccines provide a certain level of protection, but not 100%. When your cat's immunity declines and it comes into contact with other sick cats, it may still get sick.

About seven days after the injection, there may be immune system reactions. Some cats may have fever, lethargy, poor appetite, etc. These are normal and usually recover naturally after about two days.

At this time, do not expose cats to drafts to avoid catching a cold and forbid bathing.

Pregnant cats should not be vaccinated.

Cats injected with serum must wait twenty days before receiving vaccines.

Cats in the incubation period of illness who do not show symptoms during injection may develop symptoms within 7 days afterward; please seek timely treatment.
