Shar Pei (detailed introduction)

　　It is often said that dogs are very loyal animals, so their memory should be good as well. Many owners say their dogs remember people they dislike and will always be fierce towards them no matter how much time has passed. Want to know how good your dog's memory really is? Here, the editor uses the simplest test to check your dog's memory ability, and parents can try it.
　　Test A: Short-term Memory Ability
　　You need some food. If your dog cannot sit quietly still, you may ask someone to hold it and place it in the center of the room. When the dog looks at you, show the food to it, let it smell it, then put the food in a corner, making sure the dog sees you placing it. Take the dog out of the room and let it walk a circle, then bring it back. Remember, the time leaving and returning to the room must not exceed 15 seconds. Release the leash and start timing.
　　Test results:
　　1. If the dog goes straight to the food, give it 5 points.
　　2. If the dog sniffs each corner of the room in order before finding the food, give 4 points.
　　3. If the dog appears to search randomly but finds it within 45 seconds, give 3 points.
　　4. If the dog clearly tries to find but does not find it after 45 seconds, give 2 points.
　　5. If the dog does not attempt to find at all, give 1 point.
　　Test B: Measure the Dog's "Long-term Memory Ability"
　　This test must be done immediately after test A. If you have not done test A, please go back to step A.
　　Regardless of your dog's reaction in test A, this test works the same but do not put the food in the same spot as before. Take the dog out of the room, let it leave for 5 minutes, then bring it back to the center of the room. Release the leash and start timing.
　　Test results:
　　1. If your dog goes directly to the dog food, 5 points
　　2. If your dog first goes to the corner where the food was placed in A, then walks to the new food location, 4 points
　　3. If your dog sniffs around the room before finding the food, 3 points
　　4. If the dog seems to search randomly and finds it within 45 seconds, 2 points
　　5. If the dog makes no attempt to find, 0 points
　　Add the two results:
　　1-3 points: Your dog is still mainly focused on being cute
　　4-6 points: Normal
　　7-9 points: Excellent
　　10 points: Either a foodie or a genius
