Frontline drops are currently a very commonly used external deworming agent, recommended by most hospitals. Their main advantages are good deworming effects and convenient usage. However, new dog owners may not know the correct way to use them, so we will provide a simple introduction.

After opening the package, you will see a mark at the top of the medicine indicating where to cut with scissors. But in fact, this is not necessary because of the design; you can easily break it open by hand. Next is the application process. First, determine whether the dog will move around. If the dog is usually well-behaved, one person can do it alone. If the dog is more playful, it is better to have someone hold the dog steady.

The application site is usually chosen at the dog's neck, a place the dog cannot lick, so there is no need to worry about the dog licking the medicine and vomiting. First, part the fur on the dog's neck, then place the tip of the applicator directly against the dog's skin and squeeze out the medicine. There are two ways to apply the drops. One is to slowly move along a straight line while squeezing out the medicine until all the drops are applied. The other is to apply at multiple points, that is, put some medicine at one point, then after some distance apply at another point. But do not use too many points, generally 2-3 points are sufficient. Finally, let the dog absorb the medicine on its own.
