How to train cats not to eat cockroaches

Because cockroaches carry many germs, it is essential to train cats not to casually eat cockroaches.
According to research, there is currently no evidence that cats eating cockroaches is harmful. However, cockroaches carry many germs, and if a cat eats one, it may become infected inside the body; it might also be excreted with the feces, and if the feces are exposed at home or accidentally touched by people, they could become a source of disease. Therefore, it is best not to let cats eat cockroaches.
Before the cat puts a cockroach into its mouth, you must stop it in time. Then quickly grab the cockroach with tissue and throw it into the toilet. At this moment, be sure to punish the cat promptly, such as tapping its nose tip or lightly patting its head; your words must express blame so the cat knows that eating cockroaches is wrong.
If it is too late, pay attention to promptly clean the cat's feces and avoid getting it on your hands. If your hands get dirty accidentally, be sure to disinfect promptly with medicated soap.
