Why Don't Kittens Listen to Your Commands
After spending time with cats, cat owners will know that it is normal for cats not to obey commands. Unlike dogs, cats do not have strong obedience; they have distinct personalities and are quite independent. They won’t especially listen to you just because you feed them and take care of their needs every day.
Not obeying your commands does not mean they don’t like you. Cats express emotions very subtly. They won’t enthusiastically leap onto you or lick your face, nor will they wag their tails while waiting for you to pet their heads. At most, they might pretend to mindlessly walk in front of you, seemingly annoying, but actually trying to get your attention! Or they might rub against your feet a few times, gently nibble your hand; these are all signs of intimacy. If you pay close attention, you can feel their reserved and subtle affection and love.
