　　Life Practice for Kittens

　　When raising cats, attention must be paid to cultivating correct habits and customs. For example, if the owner loves cats and often lets them sleep with people, cats with illnesses such as toxoplasmosis or fungal infections may transmit them to humans. Additionally, cats are timid and like to climb high places, believing they are safe there. Items like craft cabinets or dining tables at home are places cats should not visit. Precious items might be broken, and food might be sampled by the cat prematurely, which owners do not want. However, climbing high is a normal behavior for cats. Preventing them from going where they shouldn't go can be achieved through training and discipline. Therefore, even though cats are pets, basic training that allows the cat to integrate quickly into the family and not become a burden is very necessary. This includes training for "come," standing, lying down and rolling over, jumping and circling, fetching training, claw sharpening training, and crawling through cat tunnels, among others.

　　Many owners often boast: "My cat is so smart, it can stand straight to take things to eat," or say, "When it dines with people, it obediently sits on the chair." This is not a good sign. Before long, owners start to worry as the kitten frequently begs for food, refuses its own cat food, becomes increasingly picky, and even disregards guests by jumping onto the dining table at will to find its favorite foods. In no time, it makes a mess of dishes, making the owner very embarrassed. Therefore, kittens must be taught dining rules from an early age: fixed times, fixed places, fixed amounts. Never feed them human food. Cats must eat food specifically designed for them, as human food is not fully suitable for their nutrition and growth. Kittens older than three weeks almost always play when awake until five months old, which is their most adorable and interesting stage. Whether playing with them or just watching, it's enjoyable. After five months, their playfulness decreases but they still want to play often. Children's toys like Lego sets may not be suitable as some pieces are too small, have sharp edges, or can be easily bitten and swallowed, which can be dangerous.

　　Cat urine and feces have an unpleasant smell, and wild cats often cover their waste with soil. Some cat owners choose sand or cat litter, as cat litter is better than sand for cleanliness and parasite prevention.
