Cats often get lost because they are taken out of their territory

Bengal Cat

love being petted, so do you know which parts of the body cats like to be touched the most? Let me tell you, cats most like people to stroke their head, chin, especially the corners of the mouth, that is, both cheeks, which are the places cats most want to be scratched. So when people pet these above areas of a cat, especially the chin, the cat will not move at all, squinting its eyes and showing a very comfortable and blissful expression.

When a cat’s inner feelings start to be stimulated, its tail doesn’t move but the tail tip slightly twitches; if the external stimulation continues, the tail will violently swing like a whip from side to side, indicating the cat is very angry and dissatisfied, and may attack at any time. A cat in an attacking state will have a straight-up tail, arched back, erected fur, and stiff limbs.

When a cat is scared, it will hang its tail down and fluff its fur. A tail that is completely hanging down and tucked between the two hind legs shows the cat feels totally defeated and frustrated, also admitting its low status.

By mastering these characteristics of cats, when a cat’s or it is frightened, we can pet these parts of the cat’s body to relieve its emotions. The most practical use is when bringing a cat to the vet for injections; to calm the cat’s emotions, when the vet prepares to give the shot, the owner continuously strokes the cat’s forehead, effectively stabilizing its emotions and successfully completing the injection procedure.

Although cats cannot speak with words, they always find ways to make their owners understand their meanings. Spend more time communicating with your beloved cat, you might find that it actually has good expressive abilities, and sometimes you can even observe human-like emotions of joy, anger, sadness, and happiness from its facial expressions.
