Tips to Keep Pet Cats Calm During Visits
Local Cat
First, train your pet to get used to standing on the table. At the beginning, give your pet cat a small piece of food. When it is eating, pick it up and place it on the table, then give it a little more food.
Repeat this practice several times. If the cat adapts, you can progress to letting strangers pet the cat, but change the location to the table.
When your pet is accustomed to standing on the table being petted by strangers, take the cat to a nearby hospital. After getting the veterinarian's permission, enter the clinic, give the pet cat some food, and then leave the clinic.
Repeat this process several times, and the pet cat will start to like going there. Then ask the veterinarian or nurse to help perform some simple examinations on the pet cat.
Place the pet cat on the examination table. Let the veterinarian continuously train the cat’s courage to create positive reactions. After these training sessions, future examinations and treatments will be much easier.
Practice makes perfect. The next time your pet cat goes to the hospital, it won’t be meowing loudly or running around, causing headaches for everyone.
When a pet cat is sick, it needs to go to the hospital for a check-up. Annual routine veterinary examinations are necessary, and if the cat is ill, a full vet examination is required. Therefore, calmly accepting the veterinarian’s touch and treatment is very important.
