　　1.As soon as you find your pet cat touching or playing with electrical wires, you should stop it immediately. Remember, for such a principled issue, your attitude must be firm. Use warnings and scolding to create a sense of fear in the cat so it dares not touch or bite the wires again.

　　2.You can buy more toys that cats like to play with (such as balls, chew sticks, scratching boards, etc.) to attract the cat's attention and help it pass its boring time. When the cat has toys, it generally won't think about touching the wires, so owners can relax their worries a bit.

　　3.When arranging the wires, you should consider "the impact of wires on the cat" and organize the wires and plugs properly. For example, you can use wire covering shells on the wires so the cat cannot bite them. It’s best to buy sockets that can be “shut off,” so the cat cannot access the sockets, and you don’t have to worry about electric shock. (Some owners also wrap wires with tape to prevent the cat from playing with or biting them.)

    When the owner leaves the house, unplug the home’s electrical wires and power sources to reduce the risk of the cat coming into contact with wires. Sometimes even if the cat bites the wire, because the wire is not powered, it won’t cause significant harm to the cat.
