Young male kittens are more restless than adult male cats; very naughty and need someone to play with them every day, or they won’t be content. They are very clingy, never really grow up, like to be spoiled and play cute. When they are young and their claws and teeth grow, they scratch and bite everywhere. Male cats in heat like to make noise at night, running around and causing trouble. Male cats are much calmer after neutering.

Female cats, generally speaking, are more gentle and quiet than male cats and are not as clingy; they don't actively rely on their owners as much. However, when in heat, female cats are just as noisy as male cats, crying loudly, rolling their butt, pitiful and miserable, with even more exaggerated crying at midnight. If you do not plan to spay them, you need to take all precautions. After female cats have kittens, they develop a maternal appearance, have a strong sense of territory, and a strong protective desire for their kittens. Most importantly, if you take their kittens away and give them to others, they will be very unhappy.

Regarding neutering, male cats are relatively simple; just remove the testicles, an easy surgery with a small wound and quick recovery. But female cats suffer more; the entire uterus must be removed, the surgery is complicated, wounds difficult to heal, and poor care during recovery may cause serious issues. Female cats may become irritable after surgery, so neutering should be done based on situation. If you think it won't affect much, it's best not to neuter as it greatly harms their body.

Therefore, whether male or female cats, there is no absolute better choice. It depends on fate and personality. Every cat is different and not limited by gender. So when choosing a cat, don’t just choose based on gender.
