Shiba Inu and Akita are two animals of different styles. It has a long history and is medium-sized. It can live in the wild, and by previous living standards, it was best used for guarding the home and yard.

The Shiba Inu is designated as a natural monument by the government. In terms of appearance, the Shiba Inu can be considered a smaller version of the Akita. Although there are different dog breeds, the Akita is a type of fox dog. Its personality is calm, intelligent, and most importantly, very loyal, which fits well as a household pet. Its abilities are on par with the Shiba Inu. It is the only large dog designated as a natural monument. In the past, the Akita held a very high status and was only owned by royal families and nobles. Talking about it used to come with special titles. Wealthy people would hire someone specifically to take care of the Akita’s food.

One can only say that at that time, the Akita had a very high status, which even we today cannot match! So, both Shiba Inu and Akita are very precious, but the Shiba Inu is relatively more precious. However, this only speaks to price; saying the Shiba Inu is expensive does not mean it is definitely suitable for you to keep. Price does not always equal value—in clothing, fabric quality varies, but dogs are different. The pet’s personality and environmental needs are what we should consider when deciding whether to keep one.
