What to do if a Teddy has ear mites
Ear mites are also called ear scabies mites, caused by a parasite living in the ear known as ear wall lice. If a Teddy dog is infected with ear mites, it must be treated promptly. If the ear mite problem worsens, it can cause the Teddy dog's ears to emit a foul odor. So, what should you do when a Teddy dog has ear mites and how should you handle it?

Teddy dog (detailed introduction)
1. Use a professional pet ear cleaning spray to clean your dog's outer ear and ear canal. Spray the ear cleaning spray 10-15 cm away aiming at the auricle and outer ear canal edges until slightly moist, then gently clean with a cotton ball.
2. Rotate the ear mite spray nozzle 90 degrees.
3. Hold the dog's head with one hand, lift and press back the drooping ear with the other hand, while pressing the spray nozzle near the ear opening aiming towards the ear canal, and press 2-3 times.
4. The mist spray range is 15-30 cm, sufficient to evenly and comfortably coat the ear canal walls with the spray liquid. Do not insert the nozzle deeply into the ear canal to prevent injury to the inner ear wall and eardrum. If there is inflammation, hematoma, or other external wounds inside the ear, the dog will have a strong stinging pain for 10-15 seconds. Fix the dog's head and body during spraying, and put a muzzle on the dog to prevent agitation and biting. Seek veterinary help if necessary.
After spraying both ears, cover the dog's ears with both hands, hold the dog's head to prevent head shaking, and carefully massage your dog with your palm for 2 to 3 minutes. After the massage, release the dog's head. Some dogs will shake their ears to flick out excess liquid that has congealed into droplets inside the ear canal; no need to wipe dry.
