Nowadays, with improved living conditions, many families keep a Pomeranian dog at home, and some wonder if they can also feed their pet dogs bones. If a Pomeranian chokes on a bone, it usually keeps making whining sounds or coughing, and in severe cases, may vomit. If your dog shows these symptoms, you must check if it has choked on the bone. You can gently feel the dog's throat to see if you feel something hard, or open the dog's mouth and use a flashlight to check if a bone is really stuck.
