Vegetables and Fruits Beneficial to Dog Health

Samoyed Dog (Detailed Introduction)
In the 21st century, most people, regardless of age or gender, cherish their pets like treasures. We must never let our ignorant love harm your pets. We only eat healthy, not expensive. Below are several vegetables and fruits that are beneficial to dogs’ physical and mental health.
1. Chicken Breast: When dogs have relatively weak digestive organs such as the stomach and intestines, eating high-protein and low-calorie chicken breast is very appropriate. Chicken breast contains no excess fat, making it an essential source of animal protein especially for dogs on a diet. (Note: Do not feed chicken skin, chicken necks, etc. Among chicken parts, chicken breast is the best choice for dogs.)
2. Salmon: High in fat and calories, contains unsaturated fatty acids, beneficial supplementation for underweight dogs.
3. Beef: High in calories and protein, low in fat, rich in trace elements, suitable for helping thin puppies gain weight.
4. Broccoli: Broccoli consists of flower buds and stems; besides β-carotene, vitamins B1, B2, and C, it also contains iron and dietary fiber, making it highly nutritious. The stem part is especially rich in fiber.
5. Apple: Contains abundant dietary fiber, helpful for relieving constipation or intestinal problems. Additionally, the pectin in apple fiber is effective for removing toxins from the body. However, because apples contain a lot of sugar, do not overfeed dogs.
6. Oatmeal: Made from oats, oatmeal contains eight vitamins and minerals and is rich in dietary fiber. Dogs with constipation often benefit greatly by adding oatmeal to their diet.
7. Pumpkin: Pumpkin easily creates a feeling of fullness. Besides being rich in fiber, it contains vitamins B2, B12, C, and carotene. Vitamin B2 can prevent anemia. Pumpkin is also very effective for improving dog constipation.
8. Cabbage: Contains sulfur and chlorine, which help detoxify dogs’ intestines and stomachs. It also contains vitamins A, B group, calcium, sodium, and iron. The heart of the cabbage is rich in vitamin C, and the leaves contain β-carotene.
9. Potato: Potatoes are rich in vitamin C and dietary fiber, with sweet potatoes containing the highest fiber content. The mucoprotein in sweet potatoes is especially effective in removing accumulated waste in the intestines. Note: Dogs with arthritis, parasitic infections, or respiratory diseases should absolutely not eat potatoes!
10. Soybeans: Contain rich plant-based protein. When dogs lack protein, they may become weak and more susceptible to viral infections. However, if you feed soybeans to your dog, be sure to boil them in water until very soft before feeding.
