The Rhodesian Ridgeback (rhodesian ridgeback), also called the African Lion Dog or Lion Hunting Dog, originates from South Africa. Its most distinctive feature is the direction of hair growing along its back, where a ridge of short sword-shaped hair grows in the opposite direction to the rest of the body.
