　　Many dogs really dislike having their nails clipped. If they are not properly trained as puppies, adult dogs are very likely to exhibit aggressive behavior during nail clipping. So what exactly causes dogs to hate nail clipping so much? And what training methods are available?

　　Dogs have very tough paw pads, with tissue a quarter inch thick at the bottom. However, the tops and the areas between the toes are filled with nerve endings and are very sensitive, so dogs dislike being handled there.
