Personality Determines Pekingese Dog Biting
Although Pekingese dogs look silly, those who understand them know their temper is not very good. Many Pekingese dogs are like “big children,” flipping their mood suddenly, and you never know where their boundaries truly lie. When they are happy, you can touch them however you want, but when they are in a bad mood, they won't even let you touch them. What causes such great differences in the temperament of Pekingese dogs?
During their upbringing, whether the owner tests their energy, holds them to admire, takes them outdoors for a walk, or bathes and brushes them, they can all accept human arrangements obediently without resistance and will not hurt anyone. Even when children pet or play with them, they cooperate well.
Although Pekingese dogs do not attack, they are not afraid of people either. When meeting strangers, they are not shy or fearful; they are dignified and poised, neither hostile nor evasive. When women and children are playing with them, they remain calm and obedient to the owner’s commands without disobedience. They are not picky about food and won’t be spoiled with treats. Even when facing much larger animals, they show no weakness or fear. When threatened by other animals, they display a strong spirit of indomitable resistance. They are very loyal to their owners and will fiercely defend and protect them if harmed.
