How to Train a Little Teddy to Urinate and Defecate? Try This Method
As living conditions get better and better, more and more people around us are keeping small pets. Having a small pet at home gives us time to play together during free time, helps us relax, and of course, activates the relationship among family members. Especially the cute little Teddy, they are everywhere around us. Their adorable little bodies leave a deep impression on us, but raising a little Teddy dog in the beginning is not an easy thing. Many aspects require our extra attention. From food and clothing to living conditions, we need to put in some effort. For example, when the little Teddy dog is young, we have to train it to urinate and defecate by itself. This way, it will be easier to raise the dog when it grows up.
Just like when we were kids, Teddy dogs are unfamiliar with their surroundings when they are young; they carry much curiosity and fear. This requires us to be more patient during training and use methods the dogs can accept. Usually, we need to observe the dog more carefully, and once we find it wants to defecate or urinate, take it to the bathroom. Each time, take it to a fixed spot. If it does the right thing, you can reward the dog with a sausage treat. Over time, the dog will slowly remember.
Of course, just having a reward system is not enough. If the dog never uses the bathroom, it also needs a certain punishment system to let it know that this behavior is wrong. We can give it a warning look and tell it not to urinate or defecate anywhere else next time, or use a louder scolding voice. Dogs are understanding; they can comprehend our meaning, but we must never hit them. After scolding, remember to gently pat its head to comfort it, so the dog knows you do not dislike it but only want it to do well. Then give it a smile.
After all, dogs are different from us humans; sometimes they cannot quickly understand what we mean. When training puppies, we must not be anxious but patiently explain our intention to them. Treat them as our friends, and believe our dogs can definitely be trained well.
