How to Care for Samoyeds During Shedding
Samoyed
Samoyeds normally shed during the seasonal changes in spring and autumn. Sometimes, when you touch your little Samoyed’s body with your hands, some snow-white hair will stick to you. Because Samoyeds are long-haired dogs, their shedding is particularly obvious. It is especially important to provide scientific care during the shedding period. If the dog unfortunately contracts a skin disease, the consequences will be very serious.
Step one of Samoyed shedding care: Ensure brushing at least 1-2 times daily. This is also the first step in grooming and cleaning your dog. Choose a pet hair comb to remove hair fallen from the skin, and also simply clean off dust and dirt from the fur, keeping your Samoyed’s body clean. (Note: be sure to promptly clean up any dog hair scattered in the home environment.)
Step two of Samoyed shedding care: After brushing your Samoyed’s fur, use an anti-static brush or a sticky roller once over the dog’s body to pick up many loose hairs. Meanwhile, use a vacuum cleaner to thoroughly remove fur from under the bed or corners.
Step three of Samoyed shedding care: Provide your Samoyed with food rich in protein and vitamins. Because these nutrients are indispensable for the growth of the dog’s fur. During leisure time, owners can take the dog outside for some sunshine, and massage your dog’s body to help promote blood circulation and the growth of new fur.
