How Much Does a Purebred Husky Cost
Many friends really like Huskies, thinking they are both beautiful and capable.

Husky (Detailed Introduction)
Especially after the release of the classic Husky movie "Eight Below," a purchasing and feeding craze for Huskies swept across China. But in reality, Huskies are not necessarily the dogs you imagine.
Huskies are working dogs and they have low loyalty to their owners. The real traits of Huskies are: cool appearance, but timid, poor obedience, easily lost (because they are friendly to everyone), and extremely love to tear and bite things.
1. Huskies have very low obedience. Don't be fooled by the capable and obedient Huskies in movies—that is artistic processing. Huskies have the lowest obedience among dog breeds, and generally even professional trainers find them hard to train.
Also keep in mind: Huskies are working dogs, this nature cannot be changed by training. They won’t be loyal only to their owner. Don't expect them to protect you like a German Shepherd or act as watchdogs.
To a Husky, both owner and thief are warmly welcomed.
Huskies are the "taxi drivers" among dogs. Due to their work nature, they continuously serve different people, so their master-servant concept is poor, they are affectionate to everyone, plus being the "drivers," their self-judgment is very strong, so as pets they don’t really obey your commands well.
Generally not recommended for beginners. Beginners should choose Labradors or Golden Retrievers, which have higher obedience.
2. Huskies have strong destructive behavior. Huskies are very destructive dogs, they like to tear and bite things more than other dogs. If there are genuine leather sofas or expensive furniture at home, be careful.
Below are some experiences from Husky owners, so you can roughly understand the destructiveness of Huskies:
"Don't keep Huskies in apartments. They are the dogs who love freedom the most; no matter how big an apartment is, they can't run freely. A Husky lacking exercise will tear up furniture in frustration... Taking them out for exercise at night is not enough, Huskies are famously 'escape artists,' you must never relax the leash even for a moment when walking them, so they hardly ever get to run freely.
In short: Huskies are not suitable for city or apartment living; they need freedom and running space, they aren’t just toys." "Just imagine after a tiring day at work, you come home and find your house a mess like after an earthquake, how would you feel... Huskies are very destructive. If you lock them in a cage during the day when you’re at work, you might as well have killed them." "My home doesn’t have a private yard but is a duplex with plenty of space.
One day I'll send you photos of the disaster here—my wooden door has a hole bitten through, the wooden staircase is full of bite marks, and the chewed shoes were my fault for not putting them away properly, so I won’t go into detail."
3. Huskies have poor gastrointestinal health. Generally, as a medium-sized dog, Huskies don’t eat much, but they are notorious for fragile stomachs, often suffer from diarrhea, and Husky puppies have a high mortality rate.
Also remember: do not bring home a Husky puppy younger than 60 days. Immunize fully as soon as possible after bringing them home, and before full immunization don’t take them out to avoid virus infection.
4. Summary – after the above introduction, what do you think?
Is the real Husky the one you imagined?
If after reading the above you still wish to raise a Husky, then we believe this Husky will definitely be well cared for.
Because you already know its shortcomings yet remain steadfast. But if you want a loyal or guard dog, we still recommend Golden Retrievers or German Shepherds.
