Dog Vaccine Injection Schedule Chart
West Highland White Terrier
Many new owners are unsure when puppies should begin vaccinations. Also, many owners only learn long after getting a dog that dogs need vaccinations too. Here, we have compiled the specific timing of dog vaccinations for your reference.
Puppy age 30 days: Intranasal canine cough vaccine
Puppy age 7-8 weeks: First injection of the bivalent vaccine
Puppy age 11-12 weeks: Second injection of the tetravalent vaccine
Puppy age 14-15 weeks: Third injection of the hexavalent vaccine and the rabies vaccine
After your dog follows this immunization schedule, what you need to do from then on is to vaccinate once yearly with one hexavalent vaccine and one rabies vaccine. This will help your dog say goodbye to those highly threatening infectious diseases.
