Choosing Furniture When Raising Dogs
Dogs naturally like to urinate everywhere and chew, so they can cause significant damage to home furniture. Therefore, choosing furniture when raising dogs is very important. If you keep dogs at home but still buy expensive rosewood furniture, obviously it is not suitable. So how should we choose furniture?
1. Taboo: stable and simple floors, carpets with various patterns. Families with dogs must give these up because cleaning dog hair is very laborious. Choice: easy-to-clean and bubble-free floor tiles. They allow dog owners to enjoy their dog's long hair without worrying about the mess after their playful dogs run around.
2. Taboo: For families with male dogs, wallpaper with delicate patterns and bright colors is absolutely forbidden because male dogs tend to urinate on walls, which is unavoidable. Choice: To reduce our cleaning workload, repainting walls with easy-to-clean and repairable paints is the best option.
3. Taboo: Bathtubs — many may not be used to bathing with their dogs. Especially in guest bathrooms, no one can guarantee that guests all like small animals. Choice: Shower heads, so dogs can be rinsed like humans, which is hygienic and convenient.
4. Taboo: integrated living rooms. Puppies tend to bark at strangers, which can scare timid guests and disrupt the atmosphere during visits. Choice: Use screens or partition doors in the living room to create separations.
5. Taboo: wooden leg tables and chairs, because dogs have sharp teeth and will destroy any item they can chew. Choice: tables and chairs with metal legs greatly reduce the extent of damage, and after a period of testing, dogs will give up biting items without a "sense of accomplishment."
