Does a Pet Dog Need a Bed to Sleep
Whether a pet dog sleeps on the bed mainly depends on the owner's choice. It is best to strictly forbid dogs from getting on the bed, cultivate good habits, and prepare a comfortable dog bed; or pay attention to the dog's hygiene and perform regular check-ups.
Dog sleeping habits:
1. Dogs do not have fixed sleeping times and can sleep anytime in 24 hours whenever they get the chance. However, their concentrated sleeping times are mostly around noon and at two or three o'clock in the early morning. The length of their daily sleep varies.
2. Older dogs and puppies sleep longer, while young and vigorous dogs sleep less. Dogs are generally in a light sleeping state and can be easily awakened by slight movements, but they also have deep sleep. When deeply asleep, dogs are not easily awakened and sometimes make dream sounds like light barking or moaning, accompanied by limb twitching and slight head and ear shaking. In light sleep, dogs lie in a prone position with their heads lowered between the two front paws, often with one ear close to the ground. When deeply asleep, they often lie on their side, fully stretched out, looking very comfortable.
