Bandaging the Wound on a Labrador's Tail
For Labradors, it is sometimes unavoidable for their tails to get injured. In some cases, urgent bandaging of the Labrador’s tail wound is necessary. Quick action can prevent further bacterial infection caused by delays! Let’s take a look at how to bandage it!

Steps to Bandage a Tail Wound:
1. A dog's tail is most vulnerable to getting pinched in door cracks. The blood supply to a dog’s tail is rich, especially when the beloved dog vigorously wags its tail. Disinfect the wound and cover it with non-adhesive absorbent gauze.
2. Bandage from the tip of the tail toward the body. Apply absorbent gauze, wrapping all the tail fur inside the bandage.
3. When the dog wags its tail hard, it may break free from the bandage, prolonging bleeding. If the dog's tail is long enough, you can fix the tail to the body, but do not wrap it too tightly.
