Because cats are very skilled; they can climb and jump anywhere. If the cat deliberately hides from us, we simply cannot force-feed it. So, how should we solve the cat's picky eating problem? 1. Change the cat food. Cats are like humans; if they eat the same thing every day, no matter how nutritious or tasty it is, we would get tired of it. Therefore, when a cat shows picky eating problems, we should timely change the cat food. Generally, fresh cat food will reawaken the cat’s appetite, and the picky eating problem will disappear.

2. Change the feeding method. As cats are our beloved pets, we want to give them the best without being told. Many people not only feed cats cat food but also treats or canned food. However, such indulgence can cause picky eating. Therefore, we need to change the feeding method: just make sure the cat eats well and enough.

3. Fix the feeding environment. If we always feed the cat on the balcony, switching the feeding place suddenly to the kitchen or room may cause the cat not only to be picky but possibly to refuse food altogether. So we better not change the feeding environment arbitrarily. If we must change, we need to be more patient. Once the cat adapts, it won’t be picky anymore.

Of course, the above tips only work for healthy cats and are almost useless for sick cats. Therefore, when we find a cat is picky, do not always think it’s just picky eating.
