What are the characteristics of the Snowshoe Cat
The Snowshoe cat combines the color series of the Siamese cat, featuring a white V-shaped mask, with four snow-white paws and short fur. They are large in size, with some male cats even exceeding 5 kilograms. Newly born Snowshoe cats are pure white all over, and markings only appear after two years. Originally based on the Siamese cat coat color, various other coat colors have now also been bred.
【History】
The Snowshoe cat was bred in 1960 by Americans crossing Siamese cats with bicolor American Shorthair cats. Many enthusiastic breeders develop new breeds every year, with the Snowshoe cat being a new breed developed in the United States. Its snowy white feet are the charming focal point.
【Body Size】
The Snowshoe cat is muscular, and its large body size is due to the American Shorthair bloodline. Its body length shows Siamese cat characteristics. Male cats are generally noticeably larger than females, with weights reaching up to 5.4 kilograms.
