Persian cat
If you find fleas on your cat, you can use a fine-toothed comb to groom it; the fleas will get caught in the comb teeth. Do not crush the caught fleas; instead, stick them to adhesive tape or place them into water mixed with detergent to kill them. Crushing them can release tapeworm eggs inside the fleas, which might be ingested by the cat when licking itself. Once one flea is found on the cat, there may be around 100 more nearby, so they must be eliminated promptly.
Fleas that escape or fall onto beds should be thoroughly removed using a vacuum cleaner. Pay special attention to corners of the house, edges of wooden floors, and seams of carpets and blankets for careful cleaning. (Source:PetsZone)
