Tips for Training a Calm Cat
Persian Cat
Cats are usually very afraid of strangers. Why do cats fear strangers, and what should be done when they are scared? Actually, through research, it is found that cats themselves are very cautious animals. They can remain calm and indifferent to familiar family members, while they will not actively approach unfamiliar strangers.
There are many types of cats, and each cat has its unique personality. Some cats are cheerful and lively, and years of interaction with people make them less afraid of strangers. However, some cats are naturally timid and alert, being even more fearful of strangers. Usually, these cats will ignore strangers or run away from afar.
Cats fear strangers mainly because of their personality. Of course, personality is shaped by the cat’s genetics; the living environment after birth; and the influence of people and things they encounter in life. To make a cat not afraid of strangers, it should be exposed to people from a young age, get used to being hugged, and have more opportunities to attend cat gatherings, meeting more strangers and unfamiliar pet cats. When the cat grows up and becomes accustomed, it will no longer be so afraid of strangers. (Source:PetsZone)
