Early Training of Pet Kittens Is Key
Canadian Sphynx Cat
Training young must first focus on three points:
First, teach the young kitten to recognize its name. This is the first step in training young , and it must be done well!
Second, get the young kitten used to the collar and leash. The collar and leash act as a restriction for the kitten; it must understand that these are part of its life.
Usually, except when bathing, the kitten should wear the collar regularly. When going out, attach the leash to guide the kitten to walk with you, preferably keeping it on your left side.
If it tries to run around, gently tighten the leash to restrict it. When you stop walking, use the leash to keep it by your side and gently press its back to make it sit, gradually forming a habit.
Third, lead by example. When training kittens, avoid roughness and scolding.
Experience shows that cats trained by people with rough temperaments tend to be fierce and domineering.
Be patient and attentive in kitten training,
use rewards more often and punishments less, which helps cultivate a gentle personality in kittens.
If these three points are well done, it lays a solid foundation for training,
and next, you can begin more strict and advanced training when the kitten grows older.
