If your cat has aggressive behavior, you might want to refer to these tips:

1、If it is a lonely old cat, consider adding a kitten as a companion. Because old and young are more likely to accept each other, but note that the kitten should be brought home by someone the old cat does not know. This person's presence is to ensure the old cat does not associate you with the kitten and feel jealousy.

2、If the old cat is hostile towards the kitten, try calling the kitten "the old cat's kitten," as this can create a positive connection between them. Secondly, when speaking to the kitten, speak to the old cat at the same time to engage the old cat and encourage normal contact with the kitten, fostering their relationship.

3、If the cat is especially nervous around a certain person, try saying that this person is the cat's person, like "This is Lily's cat, and Lily is the cat's person." This links them together. This method can dispel the cat’s tension and anxiety toward that person, but it requires repeated practice.

4、Cats are highly influenced by their owner's emotions. As the owner, you should engage in more stress-reducing activities and exercises so that both you and your cat can relax.

5、Some owners go to the veterinarian to use sedatives to control their cat’s emotions, but simply trying sedatives treats only the symptoms, not the cause; for effectiveness, you must rebuild the cat’s behavior alongside sedatives to help reduce triggers of aggressive behavior.

6、Music also has a calming effect on cats and can reduce their aggressive behavior. So, you can play your music accompanied by gentle background music as a form of soothing the cat.

7、When cats feel tense, they naturally attack their enemies with their claws, so regularly trim your cat's nails. When trimming, it is best if another person holds the cat to divert its attention.

In summary, most aggressive behavior in cats is caused by emotional stimulation. Therefore, owners should avoid anything that might negatively affect the cat’s emotions.
