Bengal Cat

　　Everyone knows dogs are very easy to train. Some basic actions, such as sitting, shaking hands, lying down, etc., can generally be learned easily after a few repetitions. Regarding cat training, we often have a misconception that cats are unlikely to be trained. In fact, cats are also very smart. Although they are not as easy to train as dogs, if the owner patiently insists on training the cat to lie down, the cat definitely won’t disappoint you.

　　1. To make a cat obey a person’s command to lie down or stand up, a period of training is necessary. When the cat is standing, give the command "lie down," and at the same time use your hand to push the cat down, forcing it to lie down. Then give the command "get up," release your hand to let the cat stand up, and after completing the action, reward with food or encourage with petting during the early stages of training.

　　2. After the cat lies down, you can quickly let it get up. With an increasing number of training sessions and longer durations, gradually let the cat extend the lying down time. After a while, give the command "get up," and repeat this many times. The cat will form a fairly strong conditioned reflex to the commands "lie down" and "get up." As soon as the owner gives the "lie down" command, the cat will lie down; if the "get up" command is not given, the cat will not get up, indicating the training is basically successful.
