Their ways of expressing themselves are also very different—cats like to purr sweetly when happy, whereas dogs interpret purring as a warning signal; a dog wagging its tail usually means friendliness, but tail wagging in cats expresses displeasure—misunderstandings are inevitable. However, in many households, cats and dogs not only get along well but also become inseparable friends.
