Which Puppy Toys Can Improve Chewing Behavior

Providing appropriate teething tools
Besides chewing behavior caused by owners not correcting it in time, puppies also tend to chew during the teething period. This behavior is normal because their mouths feel uncomfortable at this time, so we can provide some toys to help them improve this situation.
1. Rawhide bones: Often given as "snacks," but it is recommended not to choose chew bones that can be finished immediately. It is best to choose durable types. Bigger chew bones are more suitable for dogs. However, to prevent choking, it is better to feed them under our supervision.
2. Safe rubber toys stuffed with treats (such as training toys): These are not only chewable toys but also convenient items that can be stuffed with snacks. There are various sizes and hardness levels for puppies, medium-sized dogs, etc., offering diverse options.
3. Chew ropes: Chew ropes are relatively sturdy and very suitable for puppies at this period. We can also make chew ropes ourselves by cutting the leg off an old pair of jeans and tying knots at both ends. Denim is relatively sturdy with fewer loose threads, so it is suitable; other fabric types are not recommended.
4. Beef leg bones / pork leg bones: You can give them raw bones to chew on directly. Because leg bones are longer and harder, they are less likely to be swallowed or broken by puppies at this stage.
