This saying is absolutely true. The Alaskan Malamute is a large breed. You need enough space to raise it. Its advantage is that it adapts well to the environment. If you are a traveler, you can raise this breed. It is not a slow-to-warm-up type; usually, dogs that adapt quickly are not slow-to-warm-up. You can take it with you while traveling, and when your residence is unstable, you can also raise this dog. But if that is the case, probably you wouldn’t raise a dog anyway!

Its disadvantage is that it is relatively large in size and needs enough activity space. Because it is large, it also eats more. Huskies look very handsome, with a kind of boyish charm. They look cold but are actually warm-hearted. They are very gentle towards family members. Families with children can raise them. Other breeds might not tolerate being handled by children, but Huskies are relatively much better in this regard.

One point about Huskies is that they are smaller than Alaskan Malamutes and don’t require too much space, but they have abundant energy. You cannot skip walking them; you must let their vigorous energy be expended. Otherwise, like a child who doesn’t get what they want, they will fuss endlessly. If you are a very active person, then you and the Husky are a perfect match. But if you are someone who stays in bed and even thinks for a long time before going to the bathroom, it’s best not to raise one. I think raising it would be torture for you and for the dog as well.
