       Perhaps summer is a relatively difficult season for dogs. The sultry weather often makes it hard to breathe, not to mention for dogs. However, summer is usually the time with the most holidays for students, teachers, and similar professions, so many people will take their dogs out to play together. So what should you pay attention to when taking dogs out in summer?

       1. Between noon and afternoon, do not expose pets to direct sunlight. Pets are afraid of heat. From 12pm to 4pm, sunlight radiation is too strong, and going out to be exposed can easily cause heatstroke.

       2. Do not leave pets alone in the car. Closed cars in summer sunlight heat up rapidly, and leaving pets alone inside the car can easily lead to problems.

       3. Maintain good hygiene habits. Even when going out to play, you cannot neglect the dog’s hygiene. Bathing once a week is recommended. When taking it hiking, avoid thorny paths to prevent injury. After returning home, use a warm towel to wipe its mouth corners, lower abdomen, limbs, buttocks, and paws clean. After playing in the sea, wash it with fresh water, paying special attention to the eyes and ears to avoid infections.

       4. Safety precautions: pets, like children, are very curious and cannot protect themselves. They are easily hurt. When outside, be extra careful. Manage your pet properly, do not let it eat random things, and keep it away from dangerous items. When taking the dog out at night, do not let it run freely; always keep it on a leash.

       5. Food prepared for them must be fresh because high summer temperatures make food spoil easily. So be cautious whether the food is still fresh or gone bad when feeding.

       These issues must be noted when taking dogs out to play in summer, even more than usual care at home, because the places where you play are completely unfamiliar environments for the dog, so you must take good care of it.
