　　When a dog’s hearing is extremely sharp, sounds that seem normal to us humans may seem abnormal to the dog. If you worry that your dog may have problems due to sound sensitivity, some owners suggest you can try putting some cotton in their ears. Of course, we can’t keep cotton in the dog’s ears 24/7. But when the dog is scared, such as during fireworks or thunderstorms, putting a little cotton in their ears can reduce their exposure to sound stimulation.

For example, phone rings, doorbells, fireworks, etc. Starting from the smallest and least stimulating sounds, they train from the weakest intensity and gradually familiarize the dog with these sounds so that it knows that under normal circumstances these sounds won’t harm it.
