French Bulldogs are adorable little dogs with lively, loyal, and calm personalities. They are very popular in our lives, with countless people raising them! Everyone knows that eating is very important for any living being, so naturally, great attention is paid to their diet. What should French Bulldogs eat to be healthier?

French Bulldogs have a strong desire for meat; they especially love eating meat, but eating only meat cannot meet their nutritional needs. When buying dog food, carefully read the ingredient ratio chart, check the meat proportion, and then add some fresh fruits and vegetables to meet the dog's nutritional requirements. When feeding your dog, don’t spoil them by overfeeding; Bulldogs are afraid of obesity, which causes difficulty in movement and is unhealthy. Providing dogs with balanced nutrition to satisfy their needs will naturally keep them healthy.

We know French Bulldogs have a somewhat strong body odor, possibly because their diet lacks attention, causing them to eat irritating, fishy, or cheap foods, which results in strong smell in their excrement and bodies. At this time, you must strictly monitor their diet. Correctly choose dog food, and besides selecting dog food with a high proportion of fresh meat that dogs love, you can also choose one containing more coarse grains. Coarse fiber protects and nourishes the stomach, which naturally reduces the dog’s body odor.

Besides feeding staple food to the dog, you can moderately supplement vitamins and liquid calcium. Calcium tablets are not recommended because they are not easily absorbed. Also, it is not recommended to feed French Bulldogs seafood, beans, fungi, sweets, bones, or spicy, fishy, and salty foods, as these can cause digestive discomfort and even poisoning. Some vegetables and fruits, although healthy, that contain seeds or have high sugar content should not be given excessively, as they may cause diarrhea.

Friends who want to raise French Bulldogs still need to put in some effort and do their homework so that the dog does not get sick or have a bad stomach. This way, you can have a cute and healthy Frenchie baby.
