What Dog Food is Good for Samoyeds
Raising a Border Collie mainly requires patience and a lot of time. For example, when it is a puppy, it needs time to take it out to poop and pee; when it grows a bit older, you need time to teach it commands and skills; furthermore, playing games daily also takes up quite a bit of time. If you have no time to teach or play with it every day, you still need to spend time taking it out for walks. This also requires time, so you must be prepared and have time to accompany it. This companionship is not just a short moment; you need to think it through, it needs to be long-term and consistent.
So raising a dog is not just a burst of enthusiasm. If that enthusiasm fades, you will end up giving up. Not to mention the money and effort you have spent yourself, if you resell the puppy you bought, besides giving it to friends or relatives or selling it at a discount, you will have spent so much energy and money for nothing. Also, puppies are very dependent on people when young. Suddenly abandoning them causes huge emotional harm—it is very pitiful. Therefore, if you choose to raise a dog, you must persist. Think carefully; if you can’t persist, then wake up quickly. When buying, think carefully about what kind of dog you want to buy and don’t regret it later.
I see many people always asking others how to choose the desired dog, what kind is good, constantly confused with no direction. They pick the one others say is good, but don’t think about the type of dog they want to buy. In the end, after asking many people, they still pick the one they like, the one they connect with, the one they have an eye for—why listen to others? Many dog skills and habits are developed later on. As long as sensory problems or other illnesses are excluded, many things can be cultivated and strengthened afterwards. Also, features like fur volume and bone structure are often hype and gimmicks. I think a compact, sturdy, lean but not weak physique is better.
Just sharing some of my personal opinions, please don’t attack. Everyone has different views. Because my Border Collie at home was originally bought by a friend who had no time to take care of it, after much consideration I decided to take it over. The day I went to pick it up, it was lying on its original owner, clawing hard not to get down. This behavior showed it felt abandoned and very pitiful. Not to mention dogs directly abandoned are pitiful, even resold dogs are pitiful because the person who loved and cared for them daily suddenly no longer wants them. Dogs have a very simple world; their eyes are filled with just you, as if you are their entire world. Others do not matter. Suddenly, one day, their world collapses. How helpless they are!
