What are the methods for bathing pet dogs?
Dog sebaceous gland secretions have an unpleasant odor and tend to attract dirt, causing the fur to become tangled. If you don’t bathe your dog regularly, it can easily lead to parasite infestation and pathogenic microorganism invasion, causing the dog to become ill. Therefore, bathing your dog not only keeps its fur clean but is also very beneficial to the dog's health. Here is how to help your dog take a bath. Position the dog's head facing your left side; use your left hand to block from under the dog's head to the chest area to secure the dog's body. Place your right hand at the side of the tub, gently wet the dog with warm water in the order of the buttocks, back, belly, hind legs, shoulders, and front legs. Then apply shampoo, gently rub, and quickly comb and wash clean. Before rinsing, press with your fingers on both sides of the anus to squeeze out the secretion from the anal glands. Use your left or right hand to cover both ears from under the lower jaw upwards. Gently rinse from the tip of the nose downward with clean water, taking care to prevent water from entering the ears. Then rinse all parts of the body from front to back with clean water, immediately wrap the head with a towel, and dry the water. For long-haired dogs, use a hairdryer to dry the fur. While blow-drying, continuously comb the fur. As long as the dog’s body is not dry, keep combing until the fur is completely dry.
