Some owners may think that using human shampoo on dogs has little effect because some dogs smell nice and look clean after using it. During bathing, shampoo may accidentally get into the dog's eyes, which if not rinsed promptly can cause eye inflammation. Some pet hospitals may prepare their own medicated shampoos for skin treatment; in such cases, you can first wash with regular shampoo, then use the medicated shampoo, and finally rinse thoroughly.
