Dogs curl up to sleep not only to keep warm but also to protect themselves

Dogs dig the ground after excretion to leave a mark

It is said that when dogs defecate, they always like to align with the Earth's magnetic north-south lines. After finishing, they dig the ground with their paws because the sweat glands on their feet leave scent marks to indicate their territory.

Dogs' hearing is about four times better than ours, but their eyesight is not much better. During the day, a dog's vision may even be worse than ours, but at night, dogs can see much better than we can and can see more things.
