Turtle Breeding Technology and Breeding Prospects
The breeding techniques for juvenile turtles are similar to those of snake-necked turtles. In the feeding management, turtles need conditions for sunbathing, quietness; rotten and spoiled feed must never be fed, and frozen feed should not be fed directly; the optimal temperature for temperature control and rapid growth is 28-29°C, slightly lower than snake-necked turtles; daily feeding frequency can be reduced to 1-2 times; when adjusting water quality, the temperature of the replaced fresh water should be as consistent as possible with the original pond water. Like snake-necked turtles and three-lined box turtles, the development prospects of turtles will be broader. Besides consumption, there are currently many health tonic products with turtles as the main raw material. As ornamental animals and premium gifts, they are increasingly favored by domestic and international people. The current market price has slightly increased compared to previous years.
