Several Human Medicines That Dogs Cannot Eat

Many people, to save trouble when their dogs are sick, directly give their dogs human medicines. However, dogs' physiological structures are different from humans, so medicines cannot be used arbitrarily. What may be a life-saving drug for humans can be fatal for dogs!
Here are some examples of medicines that are highly toxic to dogs. Owners should pay close attention.
1. Gan Kang Li Ke Shu (Cold Medication). A medicine for treating colds, containing caffeine which can serve as a painkiller for humans, but in dogs can cause medulla and spinal cord excitation, leading to convulsions, seizures, coma, and even death. All medicines containing caffeine have this effect. Additionally, chocolate also poses this risk to dogs.
2. Gu Ci Ning (Bone Spur Relief). A traditional Chinese medicine containing Shouwu Shi, which excites the spinal cord, causing opisthotonus and instantaneous death.
3. Tea Tree Oil for Cats and similar substances can cause accumulation poisoning.
