　　Deworming is extremely important for dogs, so I won’t say much more here. For the sake of the dog’s health, every dog owner should regularly deworm them. Usually, we use deworming medicine orally. Each dog reacts differently after taking the medicine, but generally, there are three main reactions that owners should be aware of.
　　1. No Reaction Type
　　These dogs are generally healthy with good digestive function, eating well with no discomfort at all. Such owners have much less to worry about. For dogs without any adverse reactions, just make sure not to feed them other food within two hours after taking the medicine to ensure better deworming effect.
　　2. Lethargic Type
　　This is the most common reaction after dogs take deworming medicine and is relatively normal, so owners don’t need to worry too much. This indicates the medicine is working; although the dogs feel unwell, they can tolerate it. Mild symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea may appear. At this time, don’t tease or play with your dog; let them rest well and provide a quiet environment. But keep an eye on their mental state and prepare some clean water. Generally, dogs will regain energy within half a day to a day.
　3. Severe Vomiting and Diarrhea Type
　　Some dogs with weaker stomachs or older age may react strongly to the medicine, vomiting and having diarrhea, even dry heaving. Generally, this is not a big problem as symptoms improve once the effect of the medicine passes. However, owners will need to spend more effort monitoring their dog’s mental condition. If symptoms persist without improvement after more than 24 hours, the dog should be taken to a hospital for examination.
