【Test】How High Is Your Dog's Intelligence

  Many owners often say their dogs are smart, understanding their words, being so obedient and mischievous. But is that really the case?

  Below are 12 questions designed based on human intelligence tests, which can be used to measure a dog's intelligence. These tests evaluate the dog's visual and auditory abilities as well as their behavior in different situations at home and outside, but they are not entirely scientific.

  1: If you are in the kitchen and open a food bag, and your dog hears it, what will be its reaction?

  A. Runs into the kitchen as soon as it hears the sound. (3 points)

  B. Comes in only if particularly curious or hungry. (3 points)

  C. Does not realize you are opening food unless you do it right in front of it. (1 point)

  2: When your dog looks at you and you pretend to eat a treat, the dog will:

  A. Stare intently at you as if you are really eating. (2 points)

  B. Go to where you took the food to see if any is left. (3 points)

  C. Show interest. (1 point)

  D. Seem to realize you are pretending. (2 points)

  3: Does your dog recognize the following words (or common signs)? If yes, how many? These words or signs are dog food, goodbye, stairs, car.

  5: If your dog is near the door and hears unusual noises outside, its first reaction might be:

  24—27 points: Normal.

  28—31 points: Slightly smarter than average dogs.

  32—37 points: Very smart.

  38—41 points: Brilliant.

  42 points or more: Genius among dogs.
