Small-sized dogs are not starving themselves

Poodle (detailed introduction)
In recent years, more and more people like teacup dogs. Along with liking them, more questions arise. Some people suspect that teacup dogs are so small because dog traders deliberately starve them, causing malnutrition and stunted growth. Actually, small-sized dogs are not merely the result of starvation.
Generally speaking, a dog’s size depends on the size of its parents, meaning it is mainly determined by genetic inheritance. The possibility of a mini poodle giving birth to teacup-sized puppies is quite small. Of course, it is also possible that during dog breeding, there may be some puppies that nurse less, or are physically weak and smaller in size, which some may consider teacup-sized, but these dogs are not true teacup poodles. Without adequate nutritional supplementation, their disease resistance is very weak. Some dogs cannot even pass the vaccination stage. The commonly used Dutch Intervet quadrivalent vaccine is a type of live attenuated virus vaccine, which stimulates the dog’s body to produce antibodies by exposing it to weak virus antigens for prevention. But dogs with weak constitutions cannot withstand even this weakened virus.
The puppy stage is the critical period for a dog’s growth and development. Insufficient nutrition at this time will affect its entire life.
Excessive human interference and excessive pursuit of small size will not bring lasting happiness to the owner; illness and injury will often trouble the dog and its owner, and may even make the owner experience the pain of loss. Only raising a healthy dog can bring us joy!
Although small-sized dogs are cute and lightweight, they are not easy to raise at all. Owners must always pay attention to the dog’s whereabouts. One careless step can easily lead to stepping on it, and the consequence can be imagined.
