How to Make Dog Biscuits at Home?
Many friends usually buy snacks for their dogs, but if you have spare time, you can easily make dog biscuits at home. It's actually not difficult at all:
1. Ingredients for homemade dog food: several fresh steamed buns. Ingredients: broth, braised meat broth is better. Equipment: microwave
2. Procedure
1. Cut the steamed buns into appropriately sized pieces or strips that fit the dog's mouth, and remove the crust! (For medium dogs, you can remove the crust from the whole bun; for small dogs, cut into slices or strips; for large dogs, you can steam an extra-large bun yourself);
2. Dilute the broth with a small amount of water. If the broth is already very watery, do not dilute it further, to maintain the broth’s enticing aroma. (Note: The broth must not be too salty to avoid excessive salt harmful to the dog’s health!)
3. Soak one side of the bun pieces in the broth, leaving the other side dry. (This is also to prevent the broth from being too salty);
4. Place the broth-soaked buns on a plate and microwave on high power for 3 minutes. Take out and let cool in a cool, ventilated place; 5. Put the cooled buns back in the microwave on high power for another 3 minutes, take out and cool again in a cool, ventilated place;
6. Repeat this several times until the buns are hard enough to not break when bent or dropped, then it’s done.
3. Advantages:
1. Simple ingredients, sourced locally. No dog can resist the charm of broth;
2. Steamed buns are easy to digest, dogs absorb and digest easily;
3. Because of the microwave processing, compared to directly air-dried buns, it doesn't crumble, is not easy to be crushed, so dogs won’t eat too much;
4. The buns are dry with moderate hardness, which won’t hurt the gums when puppies chew.
