Lemon Peel
Dry lemon peels in the sun and place them where cockroaches may appear. Most cockroaches dislike this smell and will immediately leave after sensing it.
Borax and Flour
Mix a small amount of borax with flour and sprinkle it in places cockroaches frequent. After eating it, cockroaches will die. To attract cockroaches, you can also mix a small amount of sugar or sesame oil into the flour.
Baking Soda
Mix equal parts baking soda and sugar and sprinkle it where cockroaches most often appear. After two weeks, it can effectively repel cockroaches.
Boric Acid
Dissolve an appropriate amount of boric acid in hot water and mop the floor. After drying, boric acid crystals will seep into floor cracks, effectively preventing cockroaches.
Hot Soapy Water
If cockroaches appear in front of you, you can directly spray them with hot soapy water.
Since cockroaches can endure starvation but not thirst, when eliminating cockroaches at home, be sure to tightly close all faucets to completely eradicate cockroaches.
